From building a fishing tackle manufacturing business with her husband, to working with arts students in Orange County, Rhonda Buchanan is well-versed in dealing with people. Now, she has found a home at Keller Williams Pacific Estates.
Buchanan decided to pursue her passion to enter the field of real estate in late 2015, getting her start at Century 21 on Target before moving to KWPE in early 2016. Previously, she devoted her time to Cousins Tackle Corporation in Huntington Beach, a company she helped build alongside her husband, Bill, and their partners. Prior to entering the fishing business, Buchanan served as a flight attendant for Alaska airlines from 2005 to 2014, and at one point, she even split her time, working with Cousins Tackle during the week and flying on the weekends. Prior to that adventure, Buchanan spent four years in the student services office at Orange County School of the Arts, better known as OCSA, and eight years working with Nordstrom.
Needless to say, Buchanan is a woman of many talents. And much of her success has been built on creating and maintaining positive relationships.
“Relationships are so important to me. I believe I will be a better version of myself when I truly value those around me. I am grateful for family, and friendship, and for the opportunity to meet new friends, and build lasting relationships. That is why I will never be a "one and done" agent...my clients become my friends.”
“If I am given an opportunity to earn someone;s business, I take that seriously,” Buchanan added. “It is my responsibility to make sure that I pay careful attention to each detail so that I can finish the work, knowing that I have done my very best and that my new friends will be happy with our results.”
Buchanan knows what it means to work diligently and not take any opportunity for granted. In 1996, through aggressive chemotherapy and radiation, Buchanan defeated stage III breast cancer.
“I am committed to working hard and with integrity. I make it a point to work with both sellers and buyers, providing exceptional customer service through each and every detail of our real estate transaction.”
Buchanan is a native of Central California but has lived in Long Beach since 1993. Bill is a third generation Long Beach native, and the couple now live in Seal Beach. They enjoy fishing, spending time with neighborhood friends, and giving back to the Long Beach community that they have cherished over the past two decades.
