Andrea Testa has been with Keller Williams Pacific Estates since 2013, winning Rookie of the Year for Volume Sold in her first year. Her previous careers prepared her to approach the home buying and selling business with poise and a penchant for paying attention to detail.
Before real estate, Andrea immersed herself in the world of yoga in 1994 after a friend encouraged her to give it a try. She began teaching lessons in local studios in 1999 after her instructor suggested she try teaching because of her personable demeanor and dedication to the art. Fast forward to 2002, and Testa opened her own studio, FreeSpirit Yoga in Bixby Knolls, Long Beach.
Andrea’s interest in real estate blossomed around the time opened she the studio, but FreeSpirit Yoga began to flourish, causing her to pour her energy into the yoga business. However, in 2012, Testa decided to sell FreeSpirit Yoga and ultimately give real estate a try.
Prior to opening FreeSpirit Yoga, Testa, a native of Ohio who has lived in Long Beach since 1991, worked in customer service and distribution at Day Runner, before becoming a buyer/planner for the company. Her experience operating a studio and working at Day Runner helped prepare her to deal with clients looking to buy and/or sell their homes by giving her the skills needed to be a successful agent.
“I learned how to excel in customer service, organization, and project management. And I apply these skills to real estate transactions. I love working with homebuyers and sellers who are moving on to the next chapter of life. And I’m thrilled for them. I want to assist people with what they are up to in their life and I want to see them achieve their goals.”
Andrea’s clients describe her as “energetic, resourceful and trustworthy.” In addition to investing in the Long Beach community through real estate and by opening FreeSpirit Yoga, Testa is a member of the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Assoc and a member of the Senior Advisory Council that brought a Senior Activities Center to Bixby Knolls. She also has a heart for the world, having raised money during her time at FreeSpirit Yoga for victims of the Tsunami in 2004 and the Haiti earthquake in 2010 among many other local fundraisers and bi-annual Red Cross Blood Drives.
Andrea and wife Shelly have been together since 1999 and married in 2013. They reside in California Heights since 2003.
